The Road to Paradise
听到您离开我们的消息, 正在hawaii著名的hana highway上开车，那条路异常艰辛，风景却无限秀丽，人称天堂之路。一边开车一边在想，您在去天堂的路上是不是也是这样美丽，但千万不要这样的艰辛。
听到您离开的消息，心中似有千言万语，却哽在喉中，什么都说不出。彼时觥筹交错推杯把盏，转眼往事已成空。10年前第一次见您的生疏羞涩，3年前最后一次见您的热情拥抱，您现在还会想起么？还是奈何桥孟婆汤，您已然再也不会牵挂我们了？
去年答辩后，一直想把论文的abstract和acknoledgement发给您看看。但是人生就是这样，生活中琐碎的事情似乎never ends in sight, 一拖再拖，再回首已是天人相隔，发在这里，纪念这篇未发出的信。

I will forever be thankful to my former advisor at Tsinghua University in China, Professor Xiaofeng Peng. He is THE one who firstly showed me the wonders and frustrations of scientific research. I truly appreciate his guidance and friendship. Without his sincere advice and encouragement, I would never have the chance and even the courage to pursue the doctoral degree. His dedications to research have inspired me for the past years and will inspire me forever.
